FreeFlight System?s JET CALL Selective Calling Decoder (SELCAL) keeps fleet operators in regular contact with their in-flight aircraft while monitoring cockpit frequencies for incoming calls. Attractively priced, the JET CALL is light, small, and easy to install. It is certified to TSO-C59 and DO-160A environmental specifications and exceeds Airline Category requirements. A ruggedized version, the RJ2, also is available and is suitable for military or severe commercial applications. FreeFlight System?s JET CALL Selective Calling Decoder has external thumbwheel coding, no wire jumpers or remote switches and only takes about ten seconds to set. Two or five decoder channels are available to handle VHF and/or HF transceivers, while 16 available code letter tones for all four codewheels provide 43,680 code letter combinations and 10,920 tones. The JET CALL is certified to TSO-C59 and DO-160A environmental specifications. Its solid-state circuitry uses state-of-the-art switched capacitor filters with high inherent stability ? no resonant reeds or active filters to drift. All decoder center frequencies are locked to a single high stability quartz crystal reference. The JET CALL handles a wide range of input signal levels without adjustment. The high performance decoder circuit decodes at low S/N ratios without providing false alerts to unselected signals. A self-test circuit is designed to ensure all decoder channels are completely checked. JET CALL eliminates the need to monitor frequencies for incoming calls. Low power consumption is insured by efficient CMOS integrated circuits. Easy installation uses standard MIL type D connectors with insertable/removable pins. It?s light, small, easy to wire into an aircraft, and attractively priced.
