The Integrated Avionics Processing System 4000 (IAPS-4000) by Rockwell Collins gives you the infrastructure required to interconnect and manage the various avionics subsystems in your airplane. The cabinet may be considered a part of the airplane wiring that physically houses some avionics line replaceable modules (LRMs). The IAPS consists of a fully wired card cage containing IAPS Card Cage (ICC), IAPS Environmental Controller (IEC), Power Supplies (PWR), Input/output Concentrators (IOC), Configuration Strapping Units (CSU), Options Configuration Module (OCM), Flight Guidance Computers (FGC), Flight Management Computers (FMC) and Maintenance Diagnostic Computers (MDC). The ICC contains hardware to mount and interconnect all resident LRMs. An internal motherboard provides interconnection between all units that reside in the card cage.
