Ground Alerter 10 is the latest anti-mortar radar with an operation range of 10 Km designed by Thales to operate in complex combat environments (guerrilla, warfare, peacekeeping operations, urban zones,...) where exists a proliferation of mobile weapons such as mortars adapted to these combat zones. With an omnidirectional system of detection capable of localizing the point of impact, it allows an optimum troop protection operating on a fixed site against these weapons. A network of autonomous sirens connected to the radar by radio connections gives the alert to the troops localized on the impact site. It is of course discreet, very mobile and of easily deployed.
