The Rockwell Collins EFIS-85B and EFIS-86B Electronic Flight Instrument Systems combine Electronic Attitude Director Indicator/Electronic Horizontal Situation Indicators (EADI/EHSI) with a center panel Multifunction Display (MFD) for a fully integrated flight deck display system. Our EADI has a 50 percent larger earth/sky representation for terminal and en route formats than the conventional 5-inch electromechanical instrument. EHSI combines multiple display formats with weather radar and built-in NAV source selection for simpler coordination of all navigation and weather-avoidance tasks. The MFD provides the pilot and copilot with additional navigation, weather avoidance, data management and reversionary functions. A family of component options makes up the EFIS-85B and -86B, enabling you to configure your system for various flight deck display applications. The systems are certified for aircraft from a wide range of manufacturers. Key Features & Benefits *Centralized, fully integrated system: Provides unsurpassed flexibility and crew coordination. *Terminal and en route ADI display modes: Eliminate unnecessary information. *Airspeed and trend displays *Integrated system architecture: Offers extensive reversionary capabilities. *Improved integrated system diagnostic capability: Minimizes the need for line test equipment. *Full-sky ADI and three-dimensional runway: Provide greater environmental realism. *Multiple-mode EHSI: Features dual course arrows, waypoints, weather radar and sensor source selection on a single display. *MFD shared data information window: Won?t disrupt ADI/HSI display modes. *Multiple configuration options: Choose from two to five tubes. *Display sizes: 5-by-5-inch and 5-by-6-inch formats available. *Compatible with FCS-85 series digital flight control systems and AHRS-85 system EGPWS compatible: For bolt-on applications that use global positioning systems and on-board global terrain databases to provide pilots with a picture of the terrain ahead.
